Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026
This policy explains what information Lime Studio collects when you visit limestudio.us or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to produce your order and run the website, we don't sell it, and we don't run advertising trackers.
1. Information we collect
- Order information. When you contact us or place an order, we receive what you send: your name, email address, phone number if you call, your product details, and the photos and materials you provide for production.
- Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country-level location). It is a privacy-first tool: it does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- Server logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting, retained on a rolling basis.
- Site preferences. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not collect payment card details through this website; payment is arranged in your order confirmation.
2. How we use information
- To produce and deliver the work you ordered — this is the primary use of everything you send us.
- To communicate with you about quotes, orders, revisions, and support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your materials to train models or for any purpose other than producing your order.
3. When we share information
We share information only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, and only as needed to operate:
- Hosting and delivery: Amazon Web Services (site hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery, security, email routing, analytics).
- Email: messages to [email protected] are routed to our staffed mailbox by our email providers.
Beyond that, we disclose information only if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. Retention
- Project files (your materials and our deliverables) are kept in active storage for 90 days after delivery, then may be removed. Ask us in writing at any time if you want them deleted sooner.
- Order correspondence and records are retained as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal purposes.
5. Security
The site is served over HTTPS; the origin server accepts traffic only through our content-delivery network, and access to order materials is limited to the people producing your work. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface area deliberately small: a static website, no customer accounts, and no stored payment credentials.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example, Virginia's VCDPA, the EU's GDPR, or California's CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor valid requests under applicable law.
7. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. International visitors
We operate from the United States, and information is processed on U.S.-based infrastructure. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be handled as described in this policy.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page. The current version is always published at limestudio.us/privacy.
