Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern every order placed with Lime Studio and every deliverable we produce. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. They are written in plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you order.

We produce creative assets for online sellers — product photography, listing copy, short-form video, and brand materials — sold as fixed-price packages with a defined deliverable, as described on limestudio.us. The published package descriptions, together with any written quote we send you, define the scope of each order. Anything not listed in the package or quote is out of scope.

3. Ordering, quotes, and payment

• Orders are placed by email to [email protected] (or by phone, confirmed in writing by email).
• Before production begins, we confirm in writing: the package, the total price, what you will receive, and the expected delivery window. That written confirmation is the order of record.
• Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due in full before production begins. We will state accepted payment methods in the order confirmation.
• Custom and volume work is quoted individually. A quote is valid for 14 days unless it states otherwise.

4. Your materials and responsibilities

• You confirm that you own, or have the necessary rights to, all photos, text, logos, product designs, and other materials you send us, and that our use of them to produce your order will not infringe any third party's rights.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of factual claims about your product (ingredients, dimensions, certifications, and similar). We write and design from the information you provide; we do not independently verify product claims.
• You are responsible for your listings' compliance with the policies of the platforms where you sell (Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, TikTok, and others), including any platform rules about disclosing how content was produced.

5. Production methods

Lime Studio uses modern generative tools as part of its production pipeline, under human direction. Every deliverable is reviewed, corrected, and approved by a person before delivery. We do not deliver raw, unreviewed machine output. If you have platform- or industry-specific requirements about production methods, tell us before ordering and we will confirm in writing whether we can meet them.

6. Delivery and turnaround

• Typical turnaround is 48–72 hours from the moment we have your payment and all required materials. Large, custom, or multi-product orders may take longer; the confirmed delivery window in your order of record controls.
• Deliverables are provided as digital files via a download link sent to your email address.
• Download links remain available for 90 days after delivery. After that period we may remove the files from active storage, so please keep your own copies.
• Turnaround times are commitments we take seriously, but they are estimates, not guarantees; delays caused by missing materials, late feedback, or events outside our reasonable control extend the window accordingly.

7. Revisions and acceptance

• Every package includes two rounds of revisions, requested within 14 days of delivery.
• A revision adjusts the delivered work within the original brief (for example: swap a background, change a headline, re-cut a scene). A change to the brief itself — a different product, a new format, additional deliverables — is new work and will be quoted separately.
• If you request no revisions within 14 days of delivery, the work is considered accepted.

8. Refunds

• If the first delivery materially misses the written brief, we will rework it at no cost, over and above your included revision rounds.
• If, after rework, the deliverable still materially fails to match the order of record, you may request a refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• Because each order is produced specifically for you, we do not offer refunds for change of mind after production has begun, or for work that matches the brief.

9. Intellectual property

• Upon full payment, you receive full, worldwide, perpetual commercial rights to the final deliverables — use them on your storefront, marketplace listings, paid advertising, email, packaging, and social channels, without attribution and with the right to modify them.
• We retain ownership of our production methods, internal tools, templates, and any preliminary or rejected material that was not delivered as a final file.
• Your trademarks, product designs, and supplied materials remain yours at all times.
• We may show delivered work in our own portfolio and marketing. If you prefer that your work not be shown, tell us in writing at any time and we will honor it.

10. Acceptable use

We decline work that is unlawful, infringing, or deceptive — including counterfeit goods, content designed to mislead buyers, and material that violates a marketplace's prohibited-items policies. We may refuse or cancel such an order at any point; if we cancel for this reason before delivery, we will refund payments received for the undelivered work.

11. Confidentiality

Unreleased products, launch plans, pricing, and any other non-public information you share with us for an order are treated as confidential. We use them only to produce your order and do not share them with third parties except the service providers who host our infrastructure (see our Privacy Policy).

12. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Creative work is not a promise of commercial results: we do not guarantee sales volume, advertising performance, search ranking, or marketplace approval of any listing.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lime Studio's total liability arising out of or related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost revenue.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Lime Studio against third-party claims arising from materials you supplied, product claims you provided, or your use of deliverables in violation of law or platform policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, talk to us — nearly every issue is faster to fix than to litigate.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The current version, with its effective date, is always published at limestudio.us/terms.
